On the same afternoon the Sovjet forces kept on attacking from Lower Franconia towards the city of Nuremberg.
An aggresive forward defense by Bundeswehr forces met the Sowjets in their tracks and a free-for-all-fight developed at extremly short range.
But after loosing their mayority of battle tanks and therefore not being able to use their initial momentum to the slightest effect the Panzergrenadiers had to retreat from their staging area after night fall having considerably delaying the opponent.
But in the end the Sowjets also gained control of the Nuremberg area and Mid Franconia.
Next time, i will take some pictures to go along our group’s battle reports 🙂
This is a suggestion for more fun. If you and your partner are going to play a series of games in the same area, build a macro list (Soviet regiment at TOE, for example vs a NATO battalion Task Force (Kamphgruppe) and then count down the casualties over time.
Same as the other report’s comment; the pictures and action report really make them fun to read.
Congrats on the win
