The Tide Turns

My unit continues pressing forward. As we breach another wood line more shots rang out.

Our enemy has been spotted

Both shots strike true. Luckily the round bounces off my armor, but my wingman is not as luckily.

My dice have turned

We advance at full speed to attempt to flank the lone tank. Both of us fire, Sergi scores a hit that just glances the M1

The American pivots around to my right and fires again. Another T-72 lost. Poor Sergai.

I circle around the American firing as I maneuver.

How exactly do I miss at this range?

In the smoke and dust of combat I have lost track of the enemy. Then my hull rings out with a solid hit. My turret fills with smoke. I must bail out of my vehicle and try and make my way back to friendly lines

Synopsis

Second training game went much longer than the first. The FNG did much better with his die rolls. He understands the basic flow of the game. We are ready to move on to Hill 214 and add some infantry to the mix.

    Aloharover,

    Bring new people in is more important the battle reports,

    Recommend you just “Group” all the beginning game into one and call it a draw.

    I don’t believe one “Victory” would make that much difference now and it will shut people up!

    Yeah I didn’t realize the low or demo battle would irk folks. But he is really getting into it and picked up the rules Travelling for work and only have a little time in the evenings on the week ends. Converted the dining room into a gaming spot. We did Hill 214 last night and plan is for Amsterdam this coming weekend
