At first light near a no name cross road outside of Hanover, a platoon of Leopard 1s charge into my lines in what turned out to be a eventually futile effort to destroy my critical 152mm Howitzers. The did take out my Shilkas with their first volley.
The West German Infantry rushed out of their transports and occupied the home of a worker on the south west side of the cross road, while a Platoon of Leopard 2s swung around to the south.
Fire from Companies 1 and 2 stopped the flanking move while company 3 conducted it’s own flanking move to the north. Valiant defensive fire by the Spandrel platoon destroyed the enemy trans ports as the Hinds swept in the wipe out the German arty. It was not a good trade 1 Hind for a single M109. In the end company 2, and the Spandrels were also lost but the enemy counter attack was driven off with major losses to hall his vehicle formations.
Good job
A short but decent report, comrade. Wouldn’t have minded some more detail in there.
Thanks for the report – congratulations on the win!
