Turn 1: Soviets went to ground will their gun batteries opened up on the British infantry positions, inflicting very few casualties. The Hinds attempts a rocket salvo, but it the darkness couldn't hit anything. The British returned fire by counter-battering the Hail battery with the Abbots, destroy 4 of their number. The swingfire fired on the carnations destroying 3 and the Rapier fired at the Hinds, having their number. The FV432 advanced across the flood plain.
Turn 2: The Hinds tried to attack the Abbots but where destroyed by the Rapiers. The BMPs on the left and the T-72 advanced, with one T-72 hitting a mine. The Carnations fired again, pinning a British platoon. The BMPs fired at some FV432, killing 2. The British respond by firing Milans and Gustavs into the BMPs, Killing 4 and bailing 5. The Strikers fired at the T-72s, killing a few and the Swingfires finished off the Carnations. The Abbots finally silenced the Hail.
Turn 3: Soviet infantry tried to charge the British position but were cut down by machine gun fire. The surviving members of the T-72 platoon fired on the infantry, but inflicted not casualties. The British finished off the survivors of the failed assault on their lines and killed a few more T-72 and BMPs. Dawn did not break.
Turn 4: Soviets tried to assault again but failed and failed to shift the British defenders. The British got Mobile Milans to blitz onto the table and finished off one unit of T-72s, a unit of Shilkas, and inflicted casualties on the second unit of T-72s.
Turn:5 This was the point where the Soviets decide to cut their losses and retreat.
Nice table and battep, some more perspective would be great 🙂
Nice table
Nice job
Two recommendations
1). Remove the clutter for the pictures
2) tie the pictures to the story

Hello!
I like to read about the Brittish and watch the pictures. Mostly because I know not a single person here in Sweden from the gaming group that plays Brittish. American or West German mostly. So I really enjoyed reading your battle report and look at your models!
You played 150 pts per side, impressive! I like big battles 🙂
Excellent result. We’d like to see some written reports, but the pictures are great, well done to you both.
