The echos of war wailed through out Europe. Today, they were to echo in the streets of Grünau. In the forrest just outside of the town, two young brothers were awaken by rumbling of and armoured advance. The older brother crawled out of their sleeping bag into the freezing morning air. He could hardly hear the humming engines but certainly feel the ground shaking as he walked onto the ridge. To the south he saw them, the dark and sharp shapes of Nato armor! As they moved up along side hes hideaway he sunddely felt the full might of 12 cylinder engines, as they roared.
The young lad felt something pulling hes shirt and noticed hes younger sibling had caught up to him. The younger brother asked if the enemy was going to destroy their home but before any answer was heard the fields outside of town turned ablaze. From the north great helicopters were raining down fire infront of the Nato armor just before they decended in the middle of Grünau. The boys could se muzzel flashes before the soils was torn to dust form counter attacking Soviet tanks! Their small round turrets were difficult to spot but they had difficulties to hit the dark tanks upfront. The dark enemies fired back, each hit turning the large round turrets into flares flying up into the air.
The Nato armor made its way into the center of Grünau and many dark smoke pillars rose up from all over town only to be dispersed by the circling hawks that rained down more fire into what use to be lads homestead. By midday the echoing had ceased in Grünau and the red flag moved west along its streets once more.

Nato armor advancing by the outskirts of town
Soviet armour taking defencive positions thanks to good recon
The Leopards make use of the industrialized zones for cover
But are they moving to close for comfort?
The Soviets push up to close with the Germans
Objectives will win or loose this battle, it time do dismount the infanry were they can make a difference
Good recon is key to deployment. Some would call outflanking a Leopard suicide, these crew called it heroic!
Whether a calculated risk of sacrifice by the Soviet commander, the germans took no chance in letting the BMPs pass
But concentrating on the wrong targets might become your own doom...
The last standing German tank did take out most T-72s but was now surrounded with no air support..
.. and was no match for the fire power of all the hinds surrounding him
"This is the end..."
"Soviet antheme'
