Taught my cousin how to play and I decided to do a quick mission to take and hold a bridge from a squadron of 9 T-72's and no helicopters. Loads of fun as he hammered away at my Abrams but he just couldn't get them all. Forced the Soviets into a bottleneck between 2 forest sections and wrecked tanks seems to be a good way to open up a few exploits in massive squadrons like that. Half the tanks that did break free got bogged down in the trees or on wrecks. His shooting was fairly accurate and I lost three Abrams but did well with the moral check. He passed his as well and we decided to call it on turn 4 when all my remaining tanks slipped up to the bridge and forced a victory condition.
All in all it was a fun 45 minutes of dice rolling and teaching a new player to wargaming how to utilize cover and basic strategery
Good to see you’re bringing new players into the game, I’ll hold off the rating until the photo/report is updated.
Pictures to follow. I have school stuff to finish off for the week. Some of the photos need to be cleaned up
Have a photo of the game?
Would like to see pictures of the troops and the battlefield.
Abrams do well against just tanks…but the other toys seem to do them in
Updated
Where is the actual battle report :/
