After Bremen we decided to go take Hanover, the Brits were prepared for the attack as we were expected. We took the whole night to travel towards our target, it was still dark and that is where we launched our attack. The Brits had 3 minefields to help secure the left flank, and infantry spread along the whole board.
Spearhead made us move a few more inches in front to help take the extra needed inches to attack. The whole force was put onto the right flank.

Turn 1

In the first turn, I tried to move up as much as I can to close in with the enemy, we benefit from the +1 to hit at night, but so did they. I ordered the troops to not fire on this turn as we will not be seen (Hopefully). As we pressed forward with the T-64 to the right, Milan teams open fired with two incoming missiles, one pinged off the armour and another went right through sending flames up into the sky, behind we had our gaskins who were protecting the airspace until they saw a platoon of harriers fly towards them. They launched their missiles managing to take one down. Then a load of bombs fell on them, one gaskin went up in flames and the other had crew jump out to hide under their armour.

Turn 2

Turn two had us push further in, BMP-2’s rolled down the hill to be met with a bunch of fireworks from Milans, Gustavs, and Laws flying into them taking out five and bailing three. The commander couldn’t accept the losses so he fell back hoping to fight another day. On the other end, our little hot dog trucks push forwards not encountering much resistance but saw a lot of movement in the forest. Our men tried moving forwards to secure the clock tower but then got pounded by artillery causing them to suffer casualties and get pinned with both platoons. On our rear we had the Lynx land their troops along with scorpions behind to support them. Another milan found its target to hit one of our gaskin leaving me with two left.

Turn 3

Turn three was time to secure the win if possible. The infantry on the right flank refused to unpin so were forced to dig in. The T-64’s shuffled abit to hit the guys in the forest managing to kill 2 teams. We were in their faces now, our BTR opened fire killing 2 more infantry teams and suffering one loss. At the rear, Shilkas tried killing the landed helicopters managing to kill one heli and two stands of infantry, the rest jumped out and were pinned. The Brits then launched their counterattack and magically the sun came out. The scorpions at the back fired and killed 1 shilka and the harriers came in again and one more got shot down, taking one hail out and bailing 2. Artillery kept on pounding the infantry, but luckily we were dug in. Scorpions arrived from reserves to help push us off the objective, one carlgustav bailed a T-64 from the forest and other infantry fired but nothing happened.

Turn 4

Turn four the Brits decide to call it. We had too many infantry on the objective, our assault went through in the forest, the T-64’s came in to help take out a few scorpions and sat on the objective. We were lucky to advance in the dark to help with the +1, but it was a tough fight for the Brits as well. Looks like there will be another round in Hanover soon!!
Game end. 6-1
