This tense engagement saw a British Airmobile company supported by Abbots, Swingfires and Chieftans. Defending a woodline, they successfully saw off an assault by a Polish mechanised battalion with mortar and tank support. The Poles made a determined attack and wiped out one platoon of defending infantry, but the others were too tenacious to allow themselves to be dislodged! With two Mechanised battalions wiped out, the Poles withdrew to lick their wounds. One platoon, with only three surviving stands, had been battered by 120mm mortars and 2S1s every turn for the entire game, not to mention concentrated AGS-17 fire, shrugging it all off to destroy six BMPs and two Shilka AA guns.
Great report mate!
Great work with batrep, nice fotos, little text, but its ok.
And NATO wins another hard battle!
Hello, a good report, thanks, but could be a little bit more text and splited in turns would be nice.
Thanks for posting and the work.
Regards, Frank.
Thanks guys, for future reports I will be doing graphics and a turn-by-turn summary to try and improve the information. It was a really fun game.
Like the graphics work again… more detail on the battle would be nice as well. Hang in there, you get into the “W” column – just keep the games going!
Nice report. Cool looking table
A good win for the British here. It would be good to get a more concise report for the battle, but the pictures are a good contribution.
Nice battle and pictures.
Great report.
Good start for a new battle front!
