In this battle, elements of the Polish 29. Mechanised Regiment tried to push into a small town at the Landjut Crossroads, defended by scattered infantry and armoured units of the LANDJUT brigade. Despite a desparate assault with two companies of Mechanised infantry, the Danes held on by firmly digging into the town and repulsing every effort to dislodge them. Support from A-10s destroyed the Polish armoured thrust and secured a much-needed victory for the Danish army.

Thanks guys, this was just an initial test of the graphics based on a blog report. I will be doing more detailed turn-by-turn summaries for future games, with a bit more text detail. Thanks to Ollie as well for being such a sporting and gracious opponent as my lovingly-painted army was being battered into submission!
