After the stunning victory near Wetzlar the Soviet 8th Guards army pushed on. To Keep the pressure up on NATO a new attack was planned near the City of Limburg/Lahn. If this attack succeed a river grossing over the Lahn could be established.

Mission was Dust up with me as the attacker

Soviet Forces:

1x T-64 Command (Cobra)
4x T-64 (Cobra)
5x T-64 (Cobra)
12x BMP-2
4x Gopher
3x BMP Scouts
4x SU-25

Flo's US force

1x M1 Command
4x M1
3x M1
2x Vulcans
3x M109
1x FIST
2x A10
2x ITV's
1x Mech. Inf. platoon

My Soviet army
Flo's US forces
The table. US in the rear
I choose a defensive position

I choose one T-64 Company, the infantery and the Gophers to be placed on the table. Flo brought his ITV's, Arty, 4x M1 and the vulcans. The rest of the Units were placed in reserve.

1. Turn
We both dashed Forward with the tanks to find a good Position were to attack enemy Units. Nothing more happend.

2. Turn
The M109 fired blind and hit my infantery with bomblets. I drove my T-64 around the hill in the middle of the table an got one lucky hit on an ITV blowing it up. The other one decided to go home.

My tanks moving forward.
Taking the hill as cover
But then my tank commander was analysing the situation very fast and driving around the hill. One hit was enough and the last ITV headed for safety
Got him

3. Turn
The M1 now came down the road facing my T-64. But the frontal armour was to thick for 105mm shots. In return, my T-64 were not able to hit them at all. Also my first reserve arrived and I brought the other T-64 platoon on the table.

4. Turn
Another platoon of M1 moved on the table. Bad Thing. They killed two of my Gophers and the last two were destroyed by Copperheads... I hate those technical advanced weapons. The 4x M1 on the gas Station turned their Attention to the new T-64 destroying them completely. I rolled very bad for my armour saves. The other T-64 just managed to get two M1 bailed.

M1 size the gas station
Poor shooting of my T-64 just bail two M1

5. Turn
Flo rolled for his reserves and his A10 arrived on the battlefield. They fired their mavericks at my T-64, but only one. Lucky. The 3x M1 destroyed 4 BMP on the hill. Then my planes arrived. They attacked the M1 platoon which got on the table the last round destroying one and bailing antoher. My BMP also destroyed one M1. Flo rolled succesfull for morale. Then my T-64 destroyed 3 M1 near the Aldi market. Flo again was succesfull with his morale roll.

6. Turn
The A10 were there again, missing the T-64. My T-64 had enough of the last M1 and destroyed with overwhelming firepower.

SU's hunting
The last M1 infront of the supermarket
My unlucky T-64
Again those A10...

7. Turn
Flo got his last reserves on the field and rushed Forward his mech, platoon and his commander. The last remaining M1 also got away from my BMP firing line. He destroyed two T-64 with Copperheads.
My infantery and my BMPs now ruhed Forward to help secure the objective infront of the gas Station. Also my BMP Scout dashed Forward along the edge of the table to kill the vulcans. My T-64 just bailed the M113.

8. Turn
Now it got messy at the gas Station. My infantery attacked his mech. platoon. They fled into the area infront of the Aldi market. Now the objective was mine.

My infantery and BMPs dashing forward
M113 securing the objective
Then my infantery attacked...
And succeeded

9. Turn
The A10 attacked a last time putting some clusterbombs on my poor soviet soldiers. They killed a lot of them but this was not enough.

The Soviets again won, taking socialism a good way Forward!

The victorius Red Army infantery man!
