Firestorm: Red Thunder

Me and my friend decided to try the new small-points missions. So we each took a tank army of 30 points. At these low points i think that Leo 2's are a bit of a point waste, so I decided to go with the Leo 1.

The mission we played was Gauntlet.

Warsaw first turn:
He took his T-72M's and drove them in to the field to try to get some cover from the incoming fire. He dashed, so no shooting from him

NATO First turn:
The platoon to the left used its dash to make for the objective and decided to hide behind the house.
The platoon to the right tried to blitz but failed. So they started to make their way to the middle of the village.
The middle platoon made for the walls to try to shoot at the T-72M's. Managed to kill one, and bail one out.
The Company leader tried to drive over the wall but he bogged down.

Warsaw second turn:
He sees the threat emerging from the down, so he directs his small platoon with Company commander to try to kill of my platoon in the village. They manage to kill one and bail one out. But the last one passes his morale.
His second platoon moves out of the field so they can shoot at the platoon by the wall and manages to kill one.

NATO second turn:
The bailed out tank to the left manages to get inside again and the platoon decides to take up positions by the road to start killing the remaing of the platoon at the front of them, but they only manages to bail out two of them.
The platoon to the right tries to go around the house using a blitz move. They succeeds and manages to get in the T-72M's side armour. Killing 3 of them.
The middle platoon decides to try to help the platoon to the left of them, so one of them goes to side of the house and tries to shoot but misses utterly. The last one and the Company commander shoots at the two remaing T72M's by the field managing to bail one out. The T72M's makes a morale test but fails so they run away.

Warsaw third turn:
Down to a mere 4 tanks, of which 3 a bailed out. He manages to bail two of them in, but the Comapny commander thought it was smart to stay scared for another round. So his three T72Ms went to try to kill the platoon by the objective. But he failed to get a single shot in.

NATO third turn:
I postioned my left platoon so they could maybe get some flanking shoots at the remaing platoon. KIlling two of the.
The right platoon takes up a postion in front of the remaining T72M and kills it.
The middle platoon left with nothing to shoot at.

The warsaw commander decides to make a tacitical withdraw with his remaing forces. So it was a nice win for the West German.
