Stopping the Soviet bridgehead was a brutal fight. All the buildings were in the center of the board and the Soviets occupied most of them. I sent some Marders out to harass his Hinds on the right flank, hoping to knock down a few and distract some of his troops. My Fuchs went up the lower left into cover, waiting to assist in the eventual assault. I deployed my Leopard 1s, Gepards, Panzergrenadiers, and the Luchs to slam into the left flank, trying to whittle him down before assaulting the objective with infantry.
I was able to take down the squadron of Hinds on the left, and knocked out one from the squadron on the right in the first turn. I donβt think I could have won this otherwise.
My Tornadoes came in on the first turn, but the salvo was ineffective. I found the cannons to be more effective at intercepting Hinds in the following turns. My M109s accomplished nothing this game and died when a Soviet infantry platoon came out of reserves right behind them.
In the end this was an infantry on infantry fight.
Wouldn’t mind a bit more text describing the scene or a turn-by-turn report, nice pictures though! π
Argh, not another loss for Mother Russia

Congratulations to your win π
Hope you both had a good game?
