The Soviets continue to push through the Hof Gap. While existing from Bayreuth, the Soviets establish a bridgehead over the Red Main River. Aptly named for the ensuing battle. The US are in strong defensive positions on the west side of the river.
Turn 1:
The Soviets Recce has been able to flank far around the American strong point in the town. Soviet tanks catch US armor and APCs out of position. T72 company fire and destroys the M1 platoon and Co CDR. BMPs and ZSUs fire at US infantry in buildings to no effect.
ITVs reposition. US M1s maneuver and fire at the T72 company bail 1 and destroy one T72. US VADs fire at Soviet BMPs destroying 2x BMPs.

Turn 2:
The Soviet T72 Company fires at and destroys the second M1 platoon.
The dice gods have turned their backs on NATO this evening, The US CDR calls game Time for a Beer.
