Hasty Attack into Amsterdam
Following a massive air campaign by NATO fighters and bombers out of England, Soviet forces conducted hasty attacks to secure key lines of communication
Defending a key highway approach into Amsterdam was a Leopard 2 Panzer Truppen Kompanie
An Initial Soviet dash across the Autobahn bridge by BMP2 recce, to Scout out and secure far side objectives
T72 Company proceeds cautiously down the Autobahn towards the location intel reports a formation of Leo2 on the approach routes.
Turn 4 reserves sees Allied PAH Attack Helos destroy another T72 company. The Soviet victory, once assured, is now questionable
Emerging from the overpass, the T72s destroy the remaining Leo2, Marder transport platoon, and Roland platoon.
NATO forces have 2x Panzer Grenadier teams remaining and 2x Jaguars remaining. The Death of their company commander has disheartened them, and the begin to retire their battered forces to the next defensive line south of Amsterdam
4-3 win to the Soviets.
I like more detail reports, where you really know what is happening, but good enough I guess
Great looking tanks, and they appear to be capable of turning the tables–unfortunately for us Wessies!
A little short, but very nice. Thank you!
++Good! Keep ’em rolling! Any chance we’ll see your (and your oppo’s) army lists? It sounds like a tense fight…
Great job
Awesome win, great table and report
Wow – that was a squeaker! Congratulations on the win! Nice looking table, I like how you did the car parks.
