This was my first game of Team Yankee since the release of British forces in October of 2016.
Now that my British are painted I wanted a test game.
Me and Adam chose 75 points for a start and designed a city style map for the battle.
We chose the basic Free for All scenario as we didn't want to over complicate things.
After deploying forces Adam won that important first turn dice roll.
Despite the early heavy losses inflicted upon the British by Adam (including one of my Chieftain Platoons) in Turn 1 and Turn 2. I then managed to even things up with a few good rolls (or rather bad rolls by Adam) in Turn Four.
The game then went on to turn 6 and as we were running out of time, we decided we had to call the game at this point (also due to me thinking it was only 6 turns anyway, this was probably not a bad thing as time was running out and we were on even turns)
.
The game ended as a draw but was enjoyable and enlightening, can’t wait for the next time to test out the rest of my newly painted Brits including air support.
Congratulations on the win/draw both of you :p
Nice game
Great Job and thanks for posting your game. Key is you had fun and that’s a win. Don’t sweat being a novel writer and Battle correspondence. Keep playing, having fun, and sharing your games. We all learn from them and assists our other commanders.
I normally don’t hold rates, but I will given it’s your first report.
Based on my system this rate two star, one for minium write up and one for posting forces
1). Put title in Tex
2). Right as narrative…..you well get to 150 very quick
3). Three pictures.
A). Over view of battle field with North at top
B). One of over looking NATO from WARSAW PAC
C). One of over looking WARSAW PAC from NATO
4). Add humor!
5). Check to make sure the your force update
With this your solid in the seven which mean a recommendation. Please go look at the top British reports

A little more effort put into the report as requested….
I’d really like to see some information here. Congratulations on getting a game in, though I’m not a big fan of blue on blue (or red on red) games… it does odd things to the campaign map…
You’ve done well to link the reports guys, but a fleshed out report would be great. I’ll mention this in the linked report so one of you may notice.
