A bit late in reporting but i've been interrogating our captives as to why a Greek division is based in Frankfurt.
Frankfurt has been surrounded for a day now with our BMP companies digging in and forming the encirclement. With our tanks held back as a reserve to counter any breakout attempt west.
Initial contact was of a full strenght company of leopard 1's from the 2st Hellenic armoured division.
The attack was supported by jaguars and west german gephards and timed to coincide with a cluster strike from a flight of tornadoes.
Initial losses were heavy leaving just the company commanders T72 operational and where the gophers failed the gaskins found their mark from the other side of town on the Tornadoes.
After this heavy blow it was up to the ATGM's and the infantry's own RPG's to take on the Greek steel. A task they were well up too. The infantry's BMP2's revealed themselves and let lose a volley along with the spandrels into the flank. They made a good account of themselves knocking out half the leopards but before they could reload they were annihilated by the quick loading and firing of the leopard gunners and gephards.
With only 6 T72's making a slow advance through the forest it was now or never for the infantry. They blitzed out of their foxholes and fired with every RPG they had at hand. The sheer plume of shots overwhelmed the Greek armour and seeing their opponents were completely in shock pushed home their attack and they moved into the field of burning wrecks hunting down all the support vehicles.
I think next time there will be no ‘Οχι’, but rather a ‘Ναί!’ from our Greek troops. The war has a long way to go yet, Commander, Good luck in your next one.
haha, lanister pays their debts xD

Yeah i’ve finally figured out how to mix the images in now. It’s much easier on a PC than my iphone.

sorry currently at work so am updating and adding things as i get time.
Nice report, mixing those images in with the text to show the happenings would be fantastic for the report.
No one can say the Hellenics didn’t fight to the last! We will have revenge!
Tell them “Winter is Coming…” 😉 Russian Winter that is… 😀
Great first battle report. Great pictures. Next time include the army lists if you can. If you need technical help, come on over to the Warsaw Pact briefing room (forum) and we’ll help you out!
Well done comrade!!
Obviously they were in Germany to pick up their Leo Is. Maybe they got a deal on Leo IIs. Who knows.
Cant wait to read about the Greeks in the FRG
