The brave comrades of the 204th Guards Motor Regiment were moving quickly to reinforce the attack on Frankfurt when they ran directly a capitalist force. Thinking quickly the Commander ordered the BMP-2 Companies to split and engage while the support setup to engage.
The initial fire from the BMPs forced most of the enemies to take cover however it was ineffective against the Abrams. Unfortunately the return fire from the tanks destroyed four of the BMPs though the soldiers within managed to bail out before the ammunition went up in flames.
In the Fog of War the commander was given an order to secure a major objective near the tanks while the enemy attempted to setup a forward command HQ.
(So we were using the flames of war Fog of War deck using the Free for all. We both really enjoyed using this system as it added another element to the mix since we not only had to pick an objective to make active but this then changed where we needed to focus our attention. Overall I would highly recommend to others. Also sorry for the poor photo quality, only had my phone with me.)
Nice table.
Congrats on the win, nice looking table 🙂
I didnt know FOW had Fog of War (FoW) decks. Will have to grab one
Very nice
Ya I’m not used to doing battle reports so didnt think about taking more pictures/better pictures or jotting down notes. As to the Fog of War cards we very much enjoyed them though the initial consensus is that when we do random missions we will roll off as normal and then if it is one of the two missions that you can run with Fog of War we will run them with the cards.
the 25th Division puts in another appearance. I wonder what the KGB would say about that?
I haven’t picked up the Fog of War pack yet – but may do so… could lead to some interesting times. 😀
Interesting, we were thinking about picking up the Fog of War deck for more game variety. glad to see you enjoyed it! A few more pictures and some turn summaries would’ve went down a treat!
