It was time that the Bundeswehr tried to make a stand against the tide of Soviet and NVA forces rushing towards the west of Germany. Close to a nearly completely destroyed village a Panzerkompanie centered around a platoon of Leopard 2 MBTs and a Panzergrenadierzug tried to make a stand. The desperate defenders faced waves of NVA T55s and T72s - the struggle amidst the ruined houses began and at one point it seemed possible for the Bundeswehr to be victorious. Also thanks to a Tornado strike flight in the area and the Gepard FLAK battery that managed to shoot down four Warsaw Pact helicopters before they were able to do any damage. But in the end the numbers of enemy tanks won the day and the stubborn Panzergrenadiere had to retreat from their position in the central woods. It was a close fight and at least there was some time bought for the allies to get reinforcements into position.

Thanks for adding the description of the battle 🙂
Welcome to the campaign, Cornicer! A good tip is to put photos in the report for people to get a good visualisation of the table.
