Firestorm: Red Thunder

Comrade Colonel!!! Recon reports western tanks approaching fast from the southwest. Durchenko smiles as he has already knows the route they will take to get to him. He has pushed their armored spearhead back, and now they come to eliminate his command. He orders his company commanders into position and prepares for another battle.

Turn 1 The NATO forces move out of the cover of a farm, while a section of M1s and Leo2s overwatch. The westerners manage to take out 2 BMP-1s, 3 T-55s, and 1 T-72. We respond by moving forward-picture 1 and we take out 2 M1s. Durchenko knows that he will take heavy losses, but at this point he knows he will defeat these westerners,

Turn 2 The westerners taken out 2 more T-55 ( we are going to have to do something about these Czech tankers) We move forward and take out yet another M1 tank and the Czechs miss all 3 of their flank shots on the Germans!!!

Turn 3 The M1 passes its test and misses its shots, The Germans take out 3 T-72's and bail another.
The T-72 company fails its test and flees!!! More cowards!!! We advance and eliminate the last M1 and take out a Leo 2. (2nd picture)

Turn 4 The German fails its test and flees-and NATO has no teams remaining and has lost another fight.

A short fight, but brutal. Durchenko is relieved to have survived another fight. How long can this last? He reports his mission successful. Division is happy to report that the attempted armored thrust by NATO has been thwarted and Durchnko is ordered to refuel, rearm and be back on the road and head toward Nuremberg.
