The Battle Draws Near....
The Soviets Deploy Their Forces.....
The Leopard 2 Tanks Enter The Battlefield.....
...As Well As The West German AA Vehicles....
Soviet T-72 Tanks Retreating From The Woods....

Turn 1:
The Leopard 2 tanks move up and engage the T-72 tanks in the woods, killing 2 while the other T-72 is bogged down in the woods unable to help his comrades. The surviving T-72 tanks move out of the woods and back towards the town, hoping to hold the line from the advancing NATO troops. The Mi-24 Hind Attack Helicopters make their move.....

Mi-24s Strike Back!

Turn 1 (continued): After minimal AA fire (thanks in part to nighttime conditions) the Mi-24 Hinds attack the 3 Leopard 2s moving through the fields. Unfortunately, only 1 of the Leopard 2 tanks were destroyed thus dashing the Warsaw Pact's forces hopes of a quick victory.

NATO Forces Press The Attack.

Turn 2:
More fire from the Leopard 2s see more T-72s being destroyed. Meanwhile, the West German AA flak guns open up on the Mi-24 Hind Attack Helicopters, bringing them crashing to the ground in a hail of devastating AA fire. The Warsaw Pact forces regroup for the next plan of attack, hoping to hold off the NATO attackers just long enough for reinforcements to arrive.

The Warsaw Pact Counterattacks!

Turn 2 (Continued): The Soviet T-72s regroup and form a battle line to take on the advancing AA vehicles and Leopard 2s. The Leopard 2 tanks were the bigger threat so were focused down first. However, once again only one Leopard 2 was destroyed in the attempt.

The Warsaw Pact Forces Make Their Last Stand.....

Turn 3 (Final):
The West German AA vehicles moved to the side of the T-72s and pummeled 3 of them with vicious amounts of flak fire. The Leopard 2s moved in to attack as well, putting several more anti-tank rounds into the T-72 Tank Company. With the HQ Leader and the Company Commanders gone and with reinforcements still not having arrived on the field, the Warsaw Pact forces retreated and regrouped to prepare for the next battle.
