Firestorm: Red Thunder

This time we played Amsterdam hasty Attack. On our battle field was crossroad with some ruined houses near and some hills, forests and crop fields. I chose to deploy my two Panzergrenadier Zug, Gepards and both command team on table while Leopard 2 Zug was in ambush and rest of army was in reserves. First Panzergrenadier Zug with Marder HQ was deployed on my right flank in building securing one objective. Second Panzergrenadier Zug with Fuchs HQ was placed on crop field on left flank securing second objective. Gepard was in crop field in the center giving me air protection almost everywhere on table. My opponent due to Air Assault rule have to deploy both Air Assault Company and both Hind Company on table and he placed both HQ on table too. First his Air Assault Company was spread between both his objectives. Secon Air Assault Company with T-64 HQ and Afgantsy HQ was preparing to advance through city on my right flank. He deployed one Hind Company on center and second on my left flank.

Unfortunatelly in battle rush we took only pistures of our deployed forces before battle ;(

My opponent started battle with advance of his one Air Assault Comapny with both HQ. In first turn also he moved both Hind Company on right and shot at my Infantry in buildings. I managed to destroied one Hind with anti aircraft fire with one Gepards in range. On my turn I annihilated rest of Hind with moved Gepards. I revealed ambush of Leopard 2s on my right corner. In first turn Leopard 2s destroied T-64s HQ and shot some Infantry. I also received Leopard 1s and Fuchs Panzeraufklarung Zug reserves on right corner. On second turn and later Leopards 2s and 1s drove to center partof my defence to support second objective defence. My Marder and Fuchs Infantry finally destroied Air Assault Company which advanced on right side while Afgantsy HQ moved back to second Air Assault Company which defended Soviets objectives.

On second turn Red Army was received Both T-64s reserves. One unit moved on my left flank and second near center. In my turn Tornado Flights arrived and droped bomb destroing one T-64 of center unit. I moved my Lepoards 2s and 1s to fight with arrived tanks but I have almost no LOS. On third turn arrived two Gaskin SAM. I maged to destoied one of them in my turn and another bailed out with Gepards. They panicked and didn't pass morale check so I had almost no enemy air defence later. Nest my opponent moved near my lest side objective with one T-64s Company and second moved near center of my defence. BRDM-2 recon moved on my left flank from reserves but finally was destroied by Marders. I lost unit of Gepards due to fire of T-64s and defending infantry's RPG. When T-64s Company assaulted on my infantry on left side objective they pushed my Infantry back but my infantry still hold. objective. It was hot time for my defence but on my turn Leopard 2s finally moved on fire position again T-64s. I destroied T-64s Company on left side and seconf Company reduced to only two tanks. Fortunatelly for me when last two T-64s moved to shot from flank my Leopard 2s they didn't received hits and next turn I destried them with Leopard 2s. I also received both Luchs Spah Trupp on my left corner.

So on this step on battle my opponent had only one Air Assault Company with Afgantsy HQ spread on both objectives. I lost Gepards Unit and some infantry teams. I moved my Leopard 2s and 1s and both Luchs Unit near enemy infantry to support my assault. Tornado Strike Flight appeared several times lucky for me destroing Gremlin team and some other infantry teams. Finally I assaulted enemy infantry one left objectives with Leopard 2s. Assault last some turns. I had hard time when enemy RPG-7 teams scored two hits and I throw two 1s on armour test so my opponent equal my Chobbar armour. Happily he pass only one firepower and bailed out my one Leopard 2 but I didn't managed to conterattack so I lost one tank. Finally after couple turns of assault I killed some teams and they didn't pass counterattack and I pushed them out of 4" from objectives and won battle!
