What started out as a simple routine recon to probe the Warsaw Pact's FOB around the Copenhagen Bridgehead, turned into a desperate rearguard action. LT Hurley's brave Gordon Highlanders had to fight a withdrawal over 60miles back toward the British Lines, after their Lynx helicopters were shot down by a concealed SAM site. Despite horrific injuries to all squads, the Brits managed to delay the advance of the enemy tanks in time for the Chieftains of 3rd Armoured to counter attack and buy further time for reinforcements from Paris to arrive and stem to tide. By the 3rd day of point blank fighting, the Red Army had over extended themselves and it was LT Hurley herself who fired the missile that destroyed the enemy commander's tank in an explosion that was cheered by all the NATO forces. A counter attack in the enemy's left flank turned the battle to a rout and victory was assured. Although enethma to the Brits to not chase the retreating Russians, cooler heads prevailed and a REORG was ordered to resupply and dress wounds. British gunnery accounted for a kill ratio of 3:1, proof that superior weaponary and training will always suffice
Congrats on the victory commander 🙂
Nice win
Hi
Recommend you turn the photos of the 423 clock wise 90 degree.
Keep working the report. I hold off rating early reports like this. If you have question about “how to”. Just drop a note in the tactics board
Cheers
Scott
Yes,
M. Nisbet is right obout that. Did you make no pictures?
To split your actions in turns will help to read it easier.
Nice work on the pictures and grats for winnig!
Regards, Frank.
Good work commander. In order to receive a higher rating, include your army list, and some in-action shots from your game. Also, encourage your opponent to post his side up, and link it to yours.
